Jeera Powder – 400g

Commonly known as ‘cumin’, this aromatic spice is made from the seeds of the Cuminum cyminum plant. Cumin lends its distinctive flavour to many dishes – chilli, tamales and various Indian curries. Its flavour has been described as earthy, nutty, spicy and warm. Cumin is an important component of curry powder and garamasala They are generally fried or roasted before usage and available as whole seeds or ground to a brownish-green powder.
